Don’t bite more than you can chew. Is a quote that I always heard from my manager. What he meant by that was to not take more responsibility than what you could deliver. It is always better to say no I can’t, than to say yes and have people count on you. He always said it to motivate us and have us commit to something. From him I learned that some people still keep their word even though in the time we live in today you can’t trust people just for their word but for their actions or intentions. Sometimes we want to trust people and think they have good intensions but we are the ones that end up losing when we discover other wise.

One of the effects in my mindmap is how getting your first job while still being in high school makes you a more responsible. At least that’s how it worked for me. It thought me that I had a schedule I had to follow and it was my responsibility to arrange everything else around it. I also learned that if you want something you have to work for it and if you work for it you will appreciate it and it will have more value to you for the simple fact that you know how much you had to work to be able to have it. Compared if someone gives it to you it costs you nothing. I also learned how to administrate my money I feel that also makes me more responsible. Little things like that start to build up and you notice how you become a better you.

I am a college student because I want to better myself. I want to be able to have a career and not just a job. I am continuing my education to set an example for my kids. Another reason why I am in college is to make my family proud. My brother should be graduating college before me and he will be the first generation in our family as a college graduate and I want to keep that going. My husband is my main support system and what makes it possible for me to only focus on school. Him and our children are my main motivation. I want to get my associates as the first step, and transfer to UTRGV to obtain my bachelors. This is my number one priority.

I believe in ghost, I can’t say I have seen one, but I do believe they exists. I have experienced situations where I think it can be a ghost or have the feeling that someone is present. I have been in a room with other people where we all notice something out of the normal . Just writing about the topic gives me chills because I do believe they exist. I have seen many documentaries and read several reports that have recorded proof and it is a very interesting topic for me and I always like to hear these stories. I ask myself if they are all true or not but me experiencing them is not something I would enjoy.

My best learning experience would have to be in my high school years. I was making decisions that never realized how they would affect me in the long run. I was missing class and loosing credit, the days I would show up the teachers would allow me to turn in missing work. Even after missing lectures I would still get good grades mainly 90s and 100s, but what good did it do if I was not getting credit for the class. I kept it going the same way until my junior year when graduation came around and it started hitting me that I was not going to graduate the following year . I then made the best decision and stayed focused on my goal which was graduating I took credit by exams and managed to recover my credits and graduate with my class.

Technology has become a necessity in our daily routines. If we look around us mostly everything runs on the internet, mostly everything is submitted online, and in an electronic device. From the security of your home to paying your bills and even know buying groceries. We get so used to these accommodations that when the system is down or it is not available to us we panic. I never realized how much I depend in technology until one day I was driving my mother in law’s vehicle and compared to mine she does not have a rear view camera . As I was backing up to park the first thing I did was look for the screen to the camera which in this case she did not have one and I found myself struggling to park just by using the mirrors. This is just an example but in my opinion yes we do depend in technology too much.

Writing about the cause is asking yourself the why questions about the topic. Why did it happen? Why? Why? Why? Writing about the effect is asking yourself the what questions, they can be very different but they go hand in hand with one another. You can also write about both cause and effect in a chain reaction. It is very important that you don’t mix the both and write with a clear idea instead of confusing the reader. A cause is something that produces an event or condition. an effect is what results from the event or condition. the purpose of the cause and effect essay is to determine how various phenomena relate in terms of origins and results. Cause is the producer of an effect, while an effect is produced by a cause. The cause can be a person, object, situation, event.

I can honestly say I have changed a lot over the years. Since I was about 14 years old I remember myself as being selfish as never wanting to commit to anything. I was responsible but only looked out for myself sounds kind of ignorant but I felt I could get anything and anywhere I wanted because I only had to worry about me. it worked out good I had a job at the age of 16 I would get enough money for things I wanted and I still lived at home and had the support of my parents life seemed like a piece of cake. Until one day my boyfriend proposed to me, I was in love with him and I still am till this day, one side of me quickly said yes while the other side of me was afraid of commitment. If I said yes it would no longer just be about me I would have other responsibilities I would have to share my life with him and then think about children and how they would 100% depend on us. So I though about it for days until I made a decision. I knew I enjoyed being me and where I was at that time but did I want to be selfish and be alone all my life or did I want to form a family of my own. So I said yes and we got married and had 3 beautiful children and that was the best decision I could of made the event of my wedding led to the person I am today it helped me mature and my husband and our 3 children filled up the space in my heart I never even new was empty.

My best learning experience has got to be my high school years. I enjoyed them and had fun but I was not making the best decisions for my future. I was just living in the present and I had to learn the hard way. I started missing school and thinking nothing of it. The teachers would let me turn in the assignments I missed and I would still get good grades, but what good did it do if I was still not getting credit for it. I kept it going until my junior year when graduation was supposed to be a year from then but I was no where close to graduating I had passed all my classes and got commended in all my exit levels but one bad decision of not going to school took all that away from me I had to retake all my classes in order to graduate. I did not want to do another 4 years or high school so I moved to a charter school where they allowed me to take credit by exams and the process of earing my credits was much faster I earned them in one semester and I was able to graduate with my class and for me this has been my best learning experience .

Attitude is everything because it is the way you do things. You have an attitude for everything you do, everything you think, everywhere you go. I always try to have a positive attitude towards everything. Even when things do not go my way, I try to stay positive but of course that is not always the case. You demonstrate attitude and you observe it in others. People can tell a lot by the attitude others demonstrate it is like a way of behavior. You never know when just by simply having a good attitude you can put a smile on another person’s face.
